Reduce your chances of repeated IVF failure

IVF can see as a ray of hope. It has been a way to parenthood for many couples across the world. IVF is mostly looked at as a last hope. IVF is mostly used in cases of aged women or women with blocked or damaged fallopian tubes. It is also preferred by couples with unexplained infertility.

Though IVF has a great success rate than other infertility techniques. When all the other fertility methods fail, people go for IVF.  The couples who have undergone an IVF cycle, most have been successful, but there would be a few who have faced a failed treatment.  A failed first cycle can take a toll on you emotionally and mentally.

When you decide to go for second round of IVF, you have mixed feelings. It’s both harder and easier than the first round. We tell you how to go into your next cycle all prepared physically, mentally and emotionally:

Case review

If you are going ahead to the second IVF, your specialist would review your previous case history and find the lackness in first IVF attempt. They can suggest you some more test and can compare it from the last one. This review can help to reduce your chances of repeated IVF failure.

Re Evolution

They may ask for complete chromosome screening of the embryo prior to implantation. This testing offers a dramatic improvement in second IVF attempt and reduction in miscarriage as well as the ability to reduce the risk of multiple gestation by transferring only one chromosomally normal embryo.

Lifestyle changes

Before going ahead take care of yourself. We know it’s devastating after IVF failure. The mother needs to be healthy in mind as well as physical aspect. Changing things can help you in various ways. Small changes like exercises, taking more fertility supplements, therapy etc. make a big difference and help you stay positive. Being optimistic and staying positive is good for you. Going with the flow will help you.

Asha IVF & fertility centre employs a range of advanced tools and techniques to improve the success of embryo transfer during an IVF cycle. Endometrial Polyp : Symptoms and Treatment

The uterus is the main internal reproductive organ of a woman. In medical language, the polyp is an abnormal growth of body cells. They can look like small mushrooms or flat bumps. Uterine polyps grow in the inner lining of the uterus in women. These polyps are formed when the cells in the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grow i an uneven way. Uterine polyps can range in size from as small as a mole to as large as a golf ball. This mucus is a protruding structure outside the membrane. Often it is attached to the tissues like a thin and long stem below. When polyps are in the cervix, they are called Cervical Polyps, a Polyp of Cervix. . They are also called endometrial polyps. 95 percent of uterine polyps are benign, meaning they don’t cause cancer.

Symptoms of Endometrial Polyps:

  1. Irregular Menstrual Bleeding
  2. Heavy menstrual bleeding
  3. Infertility
  4. Postmenopausal bleeding
  5. Prolapse, which occurs when a polyp comes through the cervix and protrudes out of the uterus

Diagnosis

Your doctor will probably perform a pelvic ultrasound if you are having irregular bleeding or other symptoms. Sometimes an ultrasound alone can’t make the diagnosis of a uterine polyp, then Transvaginal ultrasound is performed with a thin device with a camera inserted into the vagina that emits sound waves to produce an image of the uterus. A polyp may be visible in it. This is called a hysteroscopy. It helps diagnose polyps. This polyp maybe shows clearly or may be in the form of thickened endometrial tissue.

Treatment

If there is a problem with having a baby and there is a polyp in the uterus, then doctors recommend removing it. Hormonal medications can reduce the symptoms of a polyp. But taking such medicines is usually a short-term solution. Symptoms usually recur when the medicine is stopped. Very small polyps are often not treated because sometimes it disappears on their own. Your doctor will plan a treatment to make sure they don’t get larger.

If you have symptoms, you might need treatment to remove the polyps. Surgery is the only option to remove it if it is not treated with medicine.  Endometrial polyps are most often removed by a procedure called hysteroscopy. Sometimes, a D and C (Dilation and Curettage) can be done to biopsy the endometrium and remove the polyp. This is less commonly used.

Uterine Polyps can lead to infertility or miscarriage. The polyp can make it difficult for the embryo to implant in the uterus. In many cases, pregnancy can happen when there are uterine polyps, but there can be problems with it. Many women have repeated miscarriages due to polyps. A successful surgery includes completely removing the polyp, an improvement in symptoms, and healing well. Removing uterine polyps can help fertility.

Go to the Laparoscopy Hysteroscopy clinic in Faridabad for the appointment. Let the Best Infertility specialist in Faridabad know any symptoms of polyp and find suitable treatment for you.

Unhealthy Lifestyles Will Have Impact on Fertility

No matter what treatment or lifestyle habits you follow, infertility is not always reversible. But better health and smarter choices can help couples improve fertility if they improve their health and make smart choices.

Several reasons can contribute to infertility, including genetics, anatomical problems, disease, and more. Best IVF Specialists in Faridabad recommend genetic testing before starting any other treatment method. An individual’s lifestyle choices, however, can also be responsible for infertility. Making smart, healthy lifestyle choices is critical to getting pregnant and increasing one’s fertility. Many of these things can be done without the help of a fertility specialist or any other sort of medical intervention.

Reasons behind Lifestyle causes of infertility in women

Smoking:

One of the Best IVF Doctors in Faridabad in addition to the above-mentioned health concerns notes that smoking can negatively impact a woman’s fertility. Prematurely aging the ovaries and depleting the eggs of women are the consequences of the drug. Smoking damages the cervixes and fallopian tubes, increasing the risk for ectopic pregnancy.

Consume alcohol in moderation:

In addition to pregnancy and alcohol effects being known, it is less well known that alcohol also has effects on fertility. Ovulation disorders and infertility are linked to heavy alcohol consumption.

Abnormal weight:

  • Overweight: The hormone balance of a reproductive cycle can be completely messed up by being overweight with a body fat level that is 10-15% above normal.
  • Underweight: Insufficient weight and body fat that is 10-15% below normal can completely undermine the reproductive axis.

Environmental risks:

Both men and women may experience fertility reductions if they are exposed to high levels of stress, high temperatures, chemicals, radiations, or electromagnetic or microwave emissions for prolonged periods.

Use of contraceptives:

Oral contraceptives seriously affect a woman’s fertility potential if they are used for long periods. A woman’s menstrual cycle can be irregular as a result of hormonal imbalance caused by contraceptives. Often, it takes several months before the ovulation returns to normal.

A healthy lifestyle should be adopted by young women, including a healthy diet and regular exercise. If the period lasts longer than seven days, or you have an irregular period, it is recommended to seek medical guidance or reach out to the Best IVF Specialist in Faridabad for an early evaluation.

HOW EFFECTIVE IS IVF IN TREATING COMPLICATED INFERTILITY?

In the case of infertility that is complicated, you’ve been trying to get pregnant for more than a year, but your doctor has found no obvious issue, such as blocked fallopian tubes. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t get pregnant. The results of studying thousands of people in this situation have shown that many of them naturally or after fertility treatment ended up with healthy children.

THESE CAUSES CAN MAKE COMPLEX

Even though every patient is unique and every treatment is customized, specialists at Asha IVF & Fertility Centre count on the common causes that reduce your fertility. Many factors contribute to infertility or complicated cases, but age is the most common.

Irregular Ovulation

Releasing an egg regularly may not happen. Ovulation can be affected by hormonal imbalances, substance abuse, thyroid conditions, severe stress, and pituitary tumors, to name just a few.

Obstacles To The Fallopian Tubes

Tubal factor infertility is usually caused by pelvic inflammatory diseases such as Chlamydia and gonorrhea.

All of these factors are considered impediments to conception, including tube malignancy, blocked tubes, and ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is particularly dangerous to the mother, and immediate medical attention is needed in this issue.

Factors Affecting Males

It is not uncommon for a male to have infertility caused by the malefactor and is as often the cause as female infertility. Although age can affect sperm’s viability, it does not have the same effect on an egg’s viability as it does on a woman’s. 10% of infertile couples have other factors contributing to their inability to conceive naturally along with male factor infertility.

The Uterus Cause

Polyps, fibroids, septum, and adhesions to the uterine cavity are included. In contrast, polyps and fibroids can form on their own at any time, while other abnormalities (like a septum) are present at birth. The formation of adhesions may occur after a surgery like dilation and curettage (D&C).

INFERTILITY CASES CONTAINING COMPLEX FACTORS REQUIRE A CUSTOMIZED APPROACH

The fertility expert Dr. Astha Chakravarty (Best Gynaecologist in Faridabad) believes that individualized care is the only way to manage the reproductive health of her patients. Using advanced reproductive technologies, Dr. Astha can determine the underlying cause of infertility and customize a treatment protocol to resolve it.

THE SUCCESS RATE OF IVF IN COMPLICATED CASES

Infertility treatments such as IVF have been proven to be effective for decades. It is not a promise, but for many couples, it has been an incredibly valuable part of their lives forever, and we wish the same for you.

The global success rate for IVF is 35%. Many clinics claim success rates of over 90%; however, there are several factors to consider when calculating the success rate, such as the implantation rate, pregnancy rate, and live birth rate. Moreover, the IVF success rate will differ from the IUI and ICSI success rates.

IVF success rates will also be lower for their first cycle versus their second cycle and so forth. Therefore, there is a great need for you to conduct thorough research so you can learn more about success rates, and don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Astha Chakravarty (Best Gynecologist in Faridabad) a fertility expert at Best IVF Centre in Faridabad.

How to Test Your Fertility

drasthachakravarty
Fertility is the natural ability to get pregnant and infertility is the condition in which a couple or one of them has some medical condition due to which they can’t get pregnant. According to the research, nowadays 40% of couples are suffering from infertility. It is a very serious problem because it does not have any signs and symptoms like other diseases have. A couple will get to know about this when they are unable to get pregnant after having unprotected sex for 1 year. If you tried but are unable to get pregnant and you think that you may be infertile then do not waste your time and immediately consult the best infertility specialist in Faridabad because only specialists will help you to determine the possible cause and cure your infertility.

When a couple consults the fertility specialist, he/she will ask you some questions related to your sex like how often you do, whether you smoke or drink, and also about your lifestyle, profession, etc. After knowing all these things he/she will tell you about the fertility test.
For men, he/she will ask for the semen test to determine the motility, shape, count, and other variables of the semen.

For women, it is quite complicated. Your expert will start by tracking the ovulation whether you are ovulating normally or not. Then he/she will conduct a blood test to check your hormones level and some more tests to see whether your ovaries may respond to the drugs or not, after that he/she will examine you to check the fallopian tubes.
If men have some problems with their semen then it will be treated by medications or surgery.  If women have an ovulating problem then it will be improved by medications, if her fallopian tubes are blocked then it will be treated through surgery, otherwise by opting for assisted conception like IUI or IVF, a couple can get pregnant.

Infertility specialist plays an important role in your infertility issues, so choosing the best specialist is important. I would recommend Dr. Astha Chakravarty, one of the best IVF doctors in Delhi NCR. If you want to consult her, visit her at the Asha Fertility Clinic, one of the best IVF Centres in Delhi.
